Cafe-hopping – Cacophony

We spent today most of last Sunday touring District 3, ailment stuff looking for interesting cafes. Here’s one we visited later that night to watch a Vietnamese band play western rock covers – RFC.

One thing that really sets it apart is the group of amplifiers being used for tables and chairs. Just watch you don’t sit on the handles!

The suitably named Cacophony cafe in District 3 hosts hard rock and metal bands, here with Microwave holding a bi-monthly residency.

Upstairs from the dungeon where the dwarves, click trolls and bands live are two very rustic, more about Saigon/Paris-styled (circa mid 1900’s) chill-out rooms. These rooms are really for the decidedly Bohemian coffee drinker, best experienced with a good book & gentle music.
