Time capsule – mid Jan 2010

Seems like not too much happened for me in January 2010, see psychiatrist except that I began to put myself in a few photos. I do remember being told I didn’t do that enough. I guess I responded.
It also looks like I started to explore the iPhone camera and apps a little more.

iPhone HDR triptych

Playing with the iPhone Pro HDR application. Not the best subject but I couldn’t wait for a great sunset. Simple but effective app. Take two shots of the same thing, cardiology the first exposing for the foreground, the second for the background. The app then merges them cleverly. Not bad for a cheap 3Mpx cam.

Banh Mi for Me

iPhone self-portrait. Preparing myself for 3 hours of mixing IT and English teaching, I need hai banh mi op la khong ut (2x Banh Mi with Egg and no chili). The room looks light because the iPhone exposed for my face, but actually it’s quite dark because there are about 6 people sleeping on chairs during the lunch break. Quite annoying when I want to catch up on the latest gossip, make phone calls or just generally make lots of noise with my lunch and coffee. Wish they’d provide a different area where people could sleep.
