Eight hours, then Da Lat

Seasonal dummy in Crescent Mall
This clothes dummy was spied in the window of a fashion shop in The Crescent Mall, District 7. I am surprised they used the words “Chinese New Year”, rather than “Lunar New Year”, given how Vietnamese feel about China. I was also a little creeped out about the use of that head in this context. Choeung Ek killing fields, Cambodia

You must be really hooked with this new teaching career. Do you realise that your last 5 blogs have all been related to your teaching activities. Yes, it can be very rewarding and give you many memorable moments.
It’s not surprising given all I do these days is teach or prepare to teach. Almost the only time my phone comes out is in the classroom, and the photos I take elsewhere sit on my hard drive waiting for the next free day I have to edit. Problem is, I don’t tend to have any free days anymore. Regardless, I do take this career seriously and do everything I can to make the classroom environment enjoyable and effective.
You are really a very good teacher, make me have a wish to return my teenager age for being your student
I guess some think so and others don’t. As long as their school results continue to improve then I’ll consider myself to be doing a good job.
