Try putting sealed containers into a tray or something large enough with water in the bottom – ants don’t swim well, it may work. Can you buy Ant-rid over there? Perhaps powder sprinkled in a line along cupboard edges or around food containers may also work. I think I’ve heard that ants won’t cross powder [but that might be snails crossing sawdust or something - not sure.] Google it. Mum.
