An explanation for my Vietnamese readers

How good are these?!!!!  Did I ask how good these are? I think I did. I'll ask it again. HOW GOOD ARE THESE!!!

I want more.

It has been brought to my attention that some Vietnamese readers of my blog may believe that I have had many bad things happen to me since being in Vietnam.

This is not true, find and certainly not the intention of my blog posts. I love Vietnam, mind and the things I write about my life here are all part of what makes it interesting. My writing style is quite Australian – very straightforward – and this might be very different from how you are used to talking about things.

I noticed when talking to a friend in a coffee shop that she was trying to justify why some things I noticed happen that way in Vietnam. She too, abortion thought I was saying these are bad things. I had to explain that I am not complaining about those things, simply observing them. This is all part of expressing yourself fully, and I think it is healthy to think and talking about the things we observe in our daily lives, rather than pretending they don’t exist.

Please, there is no need to apologise for, or be ashamed about, anything I report in my blog. If I thought these things were bad I would go back home immediately. In fact, I think these things are all just part of the new and fascinating life that Vietnam offers.

I love it here, and I will always write about anything that is different from what I am used to. Please think of those things as “different” or “unique”, not “bad”.

Thanks for reading my blog.

PS – There is a translation button on the right in case you want to try it. I don’t think it works very well, but it might give you a laugh or perhaps make some parts of the blog easier to read.
