It’s a little beauty isn’t it? I am surprised it focused accurately using Autofocus. With the Canon I’d need to shoot on manual focus and set the focal point at infinity to get it relatively sharp. Some tiny tweaks to white balance, clarity and contrast in Lightroom to bring back what the naked eye sees, and she’s all done.

Sadly I can feel the controls getting old, tired and sticky. It’s been through the wringer in this tropical zone and I don’t know if a camera like this can be serviced.

Ew – Kisstroyer! When are people ever going to wake up and smell the coffee? From a musical standpoint, they are easily the worst of all the Kiss tribute bands I’ve seen in all my years. If they didn’t have big money behind them, and if Australian Kiss fans could tell the difference between quality musicianship and a nail being hammered into their eardrums, they’d have died a natural death years ago.

Speaking of tribute bands…Bjorn Again along with other Aussie tribute bands such as Kisstroyer ,(who will be in Qingdao-China next week for the countries biggest beer festival)and the Beatnix were just on 60 mins last Sunday.It was great.You should check 60 minutes web site for the story.There seems to be alot of money to be made in this area and all the bands are doing really well.

I can’t get over the fact that this photo was taken with your Lumix. I have been wanting to photograph the moon like this for such a long time but was never successful. Good job… no, GREAT job on this one, SMG!
