The adventure lies ahead.
In no time at all I’ll be leaving the safe and comfortable shores of Australia to begin an adventure – one that I am both excited and incredibly nervous about.
May 21 – Philippines Scuba Diving
It will have been nearly a year since my last dives so I’ll be starting off in Anilao to get my feet wet again, I’ll eventually jump onto a boat for what should be an amazing experience at Tubattaha Reef. If my luck is in I’ll be diving with Whale Sharks, Manta Rays and Hammerheads. Fingers crossed.
June 5 – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam
This is where the scary stuff starts. Since late December ‘08 I’ve been studying and preparing to teach English in Asia, with Vietnam my choice due to it’s wonderful food, people, scenery and culture. At this time I don’t know for sure where I’ll be teaching, but I have my eye on a school called SIBME where I could be teaching IT as well as advanced English to teenagers and young adults. Beats teaching finger-painting to 5 year olds any day.
